Blue Water Serenade

close up photography of body of water
Languidly lilting melodic water whispers,
lapping, lapping, all our troubles melt away,
lulling, lulling, we gently gradually listen,
a lullaby, a lullaby, the river runs through.

We dance soulful to the full moon tunes,
the equinox beckons with exquisite tones,
earthed in nature we return to the canal,
water nurtures as we return to the sea.

Aware of the earth it sings a symphony,
we notice every falling turning leaf,
every change in paradise skies,
altering of the seasons before our eyes.

We slowly learn to understand every stretch,
each turn and bend, each lock and key,
waterways disclose every secret desire path,
rhapsody of hearts and minds revealed.

We become one with the winding hole,
elegant journeys always start with dreams,
at one with the universe and the pound,
understanding our innermost soul each day.

We are happy here, we have found our true nature,
we are Gongoozlers, watching the world pass by,
we are stargazers watching shooting stars,
we are dreamers lilting, lapping, lulling a lullaby.

Junctions are life and we embrace them fully,
we go wherever clouds go, celebrate this strange
wonderful freedom, wherever all the rivers flow,
softly lifting spirits, gently lilting into eternity.
