Harvest Moon blooms bright as
orange autumn leaves welt
from tips of tree branches
swaying bare beneath the Milky Way
galaxy twinkling with stardom
on this crisp night.

-Aubree Tillett earned a Master of Library and Information Science from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, a Master of Arts in Art History from the University of Arizona, and a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing and Art History from Valparaiso University. She interns at the Art Institute of Chicago’s Ryerson and Burnham Libraries, works at the Milwaukee Art Museum, and volunteers at the Urban Ecology Center and Groundwork Milwaukee. She has two poems published in Valparaiso University’s literary magazine The Lighter and recently one blog post for the Chicago Area Special Collections professional association.
