Taken on the Winter Solstice..a time for deep “reflection”. Reflecting on nature, so mysteriously beautiful, even on the darkest day of the year; as nature reflects back on the river, creating a hazy, almost abstract feel. The reed grass dances along the river, as one feels hope and anticipation for brighter days to come and the arrival of spring bloom once again.

I am an amateur photographer whose focus is primarily on the beauty of nature. I majored in art history, so most of my attempts at photography are influenced by the Impressionism and post Impressionism.
