Recently, one of Robert Wooten’s poems was selected as the winner of the winter 2021-22 dreamquestone poetry contest. Within the past year his poetry has appeared in Ancient Paths and Bear Creek Haiku. He earned an MFA in poetry at the University of Alabama (1998) and an MA with a creative writing focus at North Carolina State University (1994). Another of his poems was selected for inclusion in The Southern Poetry Anthology, volume 7.
