Floating through the blue sky
A sign from an angel
Passing through the sunlight
Sparkling as it does
Like a star falling from the heart of the universe
Coming from the wings of a Dove
The couriers of Heaven
Birds that travel for miles
Through rain and chaotic winds
Their wings never faltering as they flap for hours,
Bones blessed by love and grace
A miracle of physics
Determined to deliver
Long white feathers
To those who have lost hope
As a reminder that they are never alone.
