Being Water

scenic view of waterfalls
I am water flowing with ease.
No destination.
No outcome.
No purpose to be had.

In this moment, I am water.
A rushing river rapidly rippling.

In this moment a creek, small, steady,
silent flow through slumbering rocks.

In this moment, a waterfall
cascading over the edge of solidity
into waiting friends,
into a pool of receptivity.

In this moment, a raindrop
freefall feeling effortless,
surrender and release.

In this moment, a circling eddy
ever more, ever more turned in on itself.
