The lighthouse brightens.
Summer showcases
Space, harmful
Without import of cotton.
Typeset, embossed in stone,
The crafted tip trails
Felt. Indigo
Canals await.
Invasive & sleeved in,
Years spread
Beyond cleanup,
Driving pure rubber.
Aquatic accents pleat
Shade to elbows,
Jacquard painted
& recycled by season.
Views wax live,
Heeled dark as wine.
Even under the natural paper
Novelists know and allow.
Antiquity visits without
Scare posed to the right
Of history, groomed,
Primed & weighted.
Lower space dives
Into coves
Under paperback bridges
With postcards.
The island traps every
Perfect species,
Frames classic shells
& legends pertain.
Since lizards know
Danger, they face
plackets
In wagons
Roofed by dunes.
