The Four Directions

Dawn ushers in spring
robin songs wake Earth’s sleepers
run to red dusk, Go

Breathe in summer air
accept balance from
long light
run with Deer heart, Go

autumn afternoon
soothes our sacrifice
tread lightly home, Go

winter evening
fire brings prayer
and patience
I have arrived, home.
